Mr. Dotson has taken his experiences of more than 40 years and placed them into a book that should be required reading in high school. The lessons he has put there are lessons that everyone can understand, and should embrace. There are many in the book that don't recognize that they are heros, that just consider what they have done as simply being "necessary". It is unfortunate that more people don't recognize what is "necessary" is far different than "me".

I hope this becomes a best seller and sells by the millions - it can't be distributed widely enough in my opinion. Great read. Enjoyable. Makes one believe there is hope for mankind, even if that hope is slim.
This is a thoughtful and inspiring book that should encourage everyone to do whatever it is that they do best. Each one of us can make a difference in the world, even if we don't know it at the time.
Dotson may have a back door approach, but this look into ordinary people who find extra ordinary fullness living honest lives is a great read. Doing what you want, following your heart instead of a money trail is a true RX for a happier life.

An excellent read, the stories are meant to be shared which I am doing by reading to a group at our assisted living facility. We end up discussion the stories. He is an excellent writer and storyteller!
Laugh, cry, feel good because Bob Dotson will have you experiencing all of those. I hated to have the book end and I want more. I would read every word he could write because he lifts up the human spirit and we don't have enough of that. What's better? This is not fiction, it is real, the people are real and the things that they did are real. Thank you Bob Dotson for this gift.
