This author is new to me. The story was well rounded. The characters were fleshed out. Sex was good. The testosterone was everywhere. Naughty Bella learned some valuable lessons. The men at Cloudcroft made sure of it. I love that this author created a story long enough to connect with me but short enough not to bore me. The BDSM was not too much. Read this book if you love good a good romance with spanking and a bit of BDSM.
This was a great read. I love how they didn't fall in love or in bed right away. It was real life time. The author took time to develop an actual relationship between Bella and Jack. It was fun watching them grow and learn each other. As well as Bella learning allot about herself with a little help from a firm hand 😉
Reasonably enjoyable story about spoiled rich girl taken to live on ranch and adjust to work, rules, spanking, being responsible, etc. It took quite a while to get to the sex, but the spanking scenes were pretty good. It's amazing how many different ways authors find to come up with BDSM resorts, clubs, etc.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved all the characters. I especially like Bella 's being sassy and never knowing quite where she was with her feelings. The relationship with the three brothers when it came to Bella was interesting and the ending was exactly how I wanted it but at the same it was unexpected. I can't wait for the next one!
I got about three quarters through the book, hoping to find some passion, but it all was very mechanical. I like dominance where both feel passion, but all of the spankings - and there were a LOT - were all punishments. The men used their hands, paddles, whips, etc. Not once was there a word about any of the men trying to control themselves because they were becoming too passionate to continue. It was just “she said or did something bad (in their eyes), they beat her for a long time, she gets wet”. And when they rarely let her climax, it was like the men were just doing the next step in her “growth”. Sorry, the concept was good, but the passion was missing.
Lovely, sweet, but sexy read! I am a big fan of Isabella Laase's books, as they explore the many-faceted appeal of disciplinary and erotic spanking (yum). This was a unique blend of romance, bdsm, and DD that I enjoyed immensely, a full length read with well-executed world building. A recommended read for lovers of spanking romance with a twist!
I have read all 3 of the books in this series and I'm looking forward to the next! I happened to read book #3 first without realizing it and really enjoyed the story despite not having read the earlier ones in the series. I didn't have any problems with understanding the story but as soon as I realized that I had read the third book first, I wanted to know more about the characters in that story. I still enjoyed the earlier books and I am really thrilled with this author and this series!

The books follow women who are all looking for something in their lives, and it's interesting to see their views of the world change as the ranch helps shape them. The concept of BDSM is explained well, showing the lifestyle and the players without objectifying the concepts. We learn each character's motivations, their history and their current roles within the "family".

I highly recommend this book and this author to anyone interested in kink in general, the BDSM scene in particular, and all domestic discipline fans. The book is a standalone story with HEA and no cliffhanger. Each book in the series can be enjoyed separately.
